Vintage clothing and vintage accessories have been a way of life for me.

My connection to history has come from a couple of different avenues. Both of my grandfathers fought in World War II. Growing up, they would tell me stories about the war, my paternal grandfather would tell me about his parties in Paris with beautiful women in beautiful dresses. And I always heard stories about my maternal grandmother traveling around to dance with the sailors. It all seemed so wonderful, I lived and dreamed through their stories and became fascinated by the idea of the past.

Another is through my connection to music. As a small child, I would sit in my room for hours and listen to old albums and analyze and re-write lyrics. As I got older, I became interested in the people and the time period those songs were made in. I spent a lot of my time reading and researching those people.

Now I live my life, teaching people about the music of the past in historic places during the day, while collecting and selling the clothes of the past in my free time.

That is at least the start of the story of my shop. I'll let you know more soon!
